Same for me

Same. Seems like they’ve had a pretty bad day across the board
-
I just kept getting like 502 gateway smt.
-
I think they shut it down to put a shroud of secrecy around the glitch, at least on their platform. It sure got out everywhere else
-
I’m sorry but what happened today?

I got a 502 bad gateway, glad it's back online.
-
Yeah, seems like it was shut down as an attempt at damage control
-
yes - just tried now and got on. then i see all these posts about the glitch. maybe that's why they shut it down.
-
@rubicante23_PSN That's like shutting the barn door once the horse is in another state...

We just making assumptions now eh?
-
@Player99_MLBTS The thought of them shutting down the message boards talking about the exploit while the biggest exploit in the history of the franchise is going on isn't exactly a stretch.

too much of a coincidence

The message board went down around 12AM to 1AM CT last night. The glitch was dealt with around 10AM CT this morning. So in that 10-hour span after supposedly disabling the forum (which would indicate that they had staff who knew there was a problem), they couldn't disable the mini-season or change the reward to one stub? If true then odd strategy on their part.
-
@xRatedGProdigyx_PSN they know about all kinda of problems they turn a blind eye too…
-
That's probably it. I'm gonna preface this by saying I didn't partake in the glitch, I didn't even know about it until well after the fact- and I don't think I would have done it had I known anyways...
That being said, it really really bothers me that SDS turns a blind eye to many of the glaring issues the game has that consumers bring up...yet the very second there's a bug that benefits the consumer, they work through the night to patch it.
I do get it, it's a business and they've gotta watch out for their interests including the bottom line, especially with the financial struggles they're allegedly having.

The game has a lot of inexcusable bugs for sure, but I imagine changing the rewards to 1 stub wasnt remotely working through the night. They didnt fix the exploit, they just changed the reward.
If they were working through the night on it they would have likely taken the game offline.

You're absolutely right, it was more a bit of hyperbole on my part as to how SDS appears to operate

And Im also not trying to make excuses for SDS. The 'fix' to this exploit hurts all players because now WBC is not worth playing.
Be interesting to see though if they do patch the exploit, and if they are dumb enough to not to fix Hader/King or some other bugs with it

Agreed, I just hope SDS starts taking their image into account when performing their "fixes" for issues like this...because more often than not they don't appear to be too consumer-friendly
