Hanley or Joe

Getting close to getting them. who’s the better all around player

Most people will tell you Hanley Ramirez because his swing is so very nice and they are 100% correct about that. His defense however is so bad that he will only get one AB per game as a PH.
I went with Joe Carter for one reason and one reason only. Hal Newhouser. Whenever I see Hal on the mound, I am placing Joe in at either 1B or in the OF. I think long-term, Joe will be the better selection even though Hanley is probably the best PH you can get at the moment.

I hit a walkoff with carter today. But from playing others, Hanley is superior.
