Another topic just made me think of this:
Since Rose has been removed from the ineligible list, is he automatically reinstated in the MLBPA or does his family have to apply to have him reinstated?
Furthermore, if he is reinstated, can the game then have his name listed with the hits record and not just the Reds?

He is reinstated so he can probably be listed by name. I doubt he will ever be in the game for the same reason we won't see Wander Franco or Chad Curtis in the game.

I agree with you, but also remember when we never expected them to ever add the PED controversy players and we have a bunch of them now, so it wouldn't surprise me if he eventually makes an appearance, doubt it would be soon if they did.

yeah but PED is not as bad as PEDO on any level.

If Pete Rose or Shoeless Joe are elected to the HOF you might see them in the game, SDS would still need to make a deal with their families.
