    Hey, SDS team!

    I’m not sure if many think the way I do or not.. but I would really REALLY appreciate a way to have the new face scans added to the rosters transfer over to Franchise mode. For example.. would love to have the face scan of Konnor Griffin and Slade Caldwell in my Franchise… but I’d have to completely restart a franchise for that to be the case.

    I know in previous years.. probably back on PS3 when you entered a players name it would pop up with the option to have it take shape of a player in the system?

    Anyways, fine detail, I know. But it would really make my franchise experience so much better. I love the face scans and the players that actually look like themselves.

    Thanks for all you guys do.

    @mhenry23_PSN except there’s not. That’s just an excuse someone made up. They signed with an mlb team. They used to add all the spring break out face scans and we used to have the top prospects years before they debuted … go check the show 22 if you don’t believe me.

    Regardless there’s absolutely no excuse to be missing Drake Baldwin , bubba chandler, chase burns, can smith, cam schlittler, Nolan mcclean, colt Keith, Sal Stewart, Kevin McGonigle, Max Clark, walker Jenkins, Jesus made, Leo de vries, Samuel bassallo , Noah Schultz, Carson benge, etc…. Way too many top prospects who debuted last year still missing and all the top prospects this year still haven’t been added. They should’ve been added before the game released … all they care about is DD … somehow Ethan . Holiday has a scan in DD but still not in live rosters … it’s a joke and the lack of effort or incompetence is pathetic

    Dude, it’s been explained to you ad nauseum, SDS cannot force players to add their likeness into the game, regardless of whether or not they are in the MLB. The MLBPA agreement does NOT include NIL. The reason it may have been included in 22 is because NIL contracts weren’t allowed for college athletes until July 1, 2021, after that, depending on the college, athletes knew they had value and could negotiate that value.

    Just get over it, it’ll happen when it happens. If this is a game breaker for you, then two options, either stop playing and buying, or start your own company and chase around all the athletes and negotiate NIL contracts and scan them and sell it to SDS. Either way, just stop demanding SDS do something they can’t legally do without consent.

    Actually no one’s explained anything. SDS hasn’t said anything about this. So why don’t we stop just making assumptions and giving SDS the benefit of the doubt for no reason?

    I believe they do show up in an already started franchise. Early on, they updated Pete Crow Armstrong's hair(got rid of the blue stars) and it changed in my franchise. I think all the cosmetic stuff shows, just not the updated ratings.

    They have the scans in franchise. You just have to start over to get them. Pre-existing save files don’t update the young players. You can get everyone they manage to get a scan of if you start your franchise around November.

    @That70s_Gamer_PSN

    If the player already had a face scan previously, they will update.

    But players who were generic and got a face scan for the first time would have to be in a new file.

    Yeah, it updates for players that I suppose I’d describe as have “cards” already in the game. So already scanned in faces for guys update. But for a player that is fresh to getting a face scan in the game like Konnor Griffin, it does not. It stays the generic sds created face.

    That’s what I’m hoping they can somehow update. A way to get the newly scanned guys into my already up and running franchise. It’s bothered me for YEARS.
