I will give this to SDS - these cityscapes and mural programs are not THAT much different than Team Affinity....IF you just commit to no money spent and grind your way to getting the cards. If you go out and FOMO buy everything within a week, instead of grinding for the stubs and cards...then yeah, its way different.
And, as part of grinding you're gonna get other rewards along the way...similar to TA rewards. No captain boosts but those have been useless for a while.
Just like always, there ain't much incentive to use most lesser cards in the game - that's the biggest problem

SDS is seriously off the path. Why the hell did they make some of these mural cards the same as captains?? They completely nullify the other. They literally could have chosen any other player from each team. It’s bonkers.

5 teams didn't receive a card in either drop so save some of the outrage for them too.
At least you did get a Topps Now card today. Three of the teams with even fewer legends and flashbacks and who were shut out of both card series got nothing today.
I do believe every team should have gotten one or the other so I understand

Preach. Now imagine if they made gameplay awesome and we all stop chasing carrots.
The incentive to play a game shouldn’t be a reward carrot.
It should be because the game is fun - and I find that most of us just want rewards and shiny [censored], when they could bankroll by improving their gameplay and menus. Then focus on on the carrot
People complain about bloops it’s dumb - we need more bloops more singles, more physics on the ball.
As it stands now you bunt for a single, or slam a HR no doubter: There’s no “ in between” at all. It’s HR or single typically and it’s just so dumb and fixable

So, what's the point of captains if they're just going to supersede them so soon with better, pack only versions?
It's almost like they're moving towards a 2K model of endless pack cards.
Next will be conditioning us into believe that packs are 'content'.
