Roster Update
-
@LIONED-33_XBL Cal and Lindor have been utterly atrocious so far
In Lindor's defense he had multi hit games in 5 of the last 9 before he got hurt (including 2 HR). His final numbers the last 3 years are [censored] consistent and he still provides great defense. He is the type of player that maybe shouldnt get movements based on a 3 week easily predicted slump.
But he probably should have started the year as an 88/89 and no one would care if he stayed there. -
They must really enjoy pissing off their community at this point. Whoever is in charge has to be a narcissist. And the market has been down, tell me thats a coincidence. They cannot really think we are dumb can they?
Lol at the timing of the market being down.
Add in the infuriating way we can make outs in this game as well, as a way to anger the community. -
For beginning of the season and this being the 1st roster update they did alot of people dirty. Linder and Raleigh have no business being 90 just for example.
Yeah. I only need Raleigh to finish that division and should've bought him when he was at 50k.
But I thought for sure he would drop to at least an 89.
-
Jordan Walker got done dirty. Top 10 in WAR and we are leaving him a bronze? Especially with how garbage they have his fielding rated when he’s a plus fielder.
-
Yeah fielding updates happen much later. Some guys can get pretty big bumps when they start in the bronze or common areas.
-
@trfatboy22_PSN That’s the most egregious one to me.
-
@JDHalfrack_PSN - totally agree never understood this.
-
Nico Hoerner Pete Crow Armstrong
BA 280 BA 255 not great but in his last 15 days he has a 280 batting average
HR 4 HR 4
RBI 28 RBI 17I feel Pete should not go to a 84 and should stay a 85 and nico needs a diamond.
-
You mean a guy with a sky high WHIP, and who has given up more hits than he has innings pitched didn't deserve to be one of only 3 diamond upgrades? Lmao. They knew nobody was really invested in somebody like that so of course diamond he is. "Anybody that makes sense maybe we'll get you next time" but I wouldn't count on it
-
@ChuckCLC_PSN so the 2.42 ERA and 11 Ks per 9 don’t do it for you, huh - truthfully he should’ve been an 85 going into the year and this was them correcting that
-
This is a business, they are not going to upgrade the cards that the majority of the player base is invested in. They did the same thing last year. Stay away from the cards everyone thinks will be upgraded. They arnt handing out to the majority of their player base free stubs.

just as a bit of mediation on the Sanchez argument
You can take the 2.42 ERA out of it. ERA does not effect upgrades or downgrades unless the underlying attributes change. Sanchez got
H/9 R = -5
K/9 L = +9
K/9 R = +6
PCLT = -3For some strange reason though not a single pitcher had their H/9 L updated. Based on the changes made and knowing how highly SDS values k/9 in their ratings I can understand the +1 overall in this case.
