Spotlight program as expected BUT ....

@Ditka06_MLBTS I mean, there are players who enjoy doing both, and are decent at doing both - online and offline both have annoying traits, and I like them about equally

I think Friday will make the cards jump up in price with so many people holding onto cards for the attribute update. So many people will have more stubs to buy cards. But maybe thwre will be a ton of packs in the weekend classic, 3rd inning program, or program Thursday. Hard to tell.

@virusts_PSN there need to be more posts on guessing what the market will do. The people who are good at predicting never wanna say what they think - dont want anyone else to know.
There are so many weird trends in the market - you can really make a killing if you guess right, and its totally possible to do it (there are lots of trends).
Like, I had an extra couple spotlight cards - I thought they'd shoot up when collection came out - they actually were way higher just b4 collection dropped. I should've sniffed that out, but its tricky

@rubicante23_PSN I think mason Miller goes up to a 91 at least. Think his price goes up to 80k. Very good live series relief pitchers dont fall off trees.

On top of all the nonsense we’ve had to put up with this inning, SDS doubles down with:
A 3-hit moment. Hit a homer moment with a guy with 50 vision and a pitcher that throws junk on the outside corner. And a two extra base hit moment.
One would think they would throw us a bone, but no…..

There were moments in the spotlight program?I didn't notice, I loaded up with TN and spotlight and ran the cityscapes cq, finished the program and still have 1 stronghold left

@Dolenz_PSN Which is why I said they should rethink how they rate speed.
What should they base it on then if not the players measured speed? What we think they should be based on how they performed in years past?

I am not surprised about the pack and such you guys have shown your colors but what i am annoyed about is this.
Last year we had a chance to earn the spotlight packs from each week prior in the Lightning Program but this year you moved it to a ONLINE thing. You say you do not want to force offline players into online play and then do something like this. Your actions do not match the message you send out to the fans and that is wrong and whoever made this decision. -- SHAME ON YOU

After I complete the program; I will still need 8 of them to complete the collection.
At 20k each; thats 160K to get Elly.

The stuff they said in the past applied to 2023 and 2024 ect, they arent using those same promises anymore, and its obvious. Each year is a different year and the greed expands exponentially. We just have to go away or except it

@Dolenz_PSN I just don’t think we should be discounting a guy with good speed because he doesn’t hustle on weak ground balls. Maybe you start with that and adjust with common baseball knowledge. Do you really think the current Elly in real life can’t beat Langliers in a race? Why don’t they calculate speed on stolen bases?

@On_a_Power_Trip_PSN I’m not saying he still has 99 speed and I’m not justifying players who don’t hustle. I just don’t think that should factor into his video game speed on a card we’re supposed to be excited about.

@GoozeFn_PSN we disagree there because that’s what spotlights are about and that card will come later anyway, but the attribute points to increase his speed would’ve had to come from somewhere anyway so there’s also that (unless you needed the card to be a 96 to be excited about it, which is a different conversation)

@virusts_PSN yeah I pulled the trigger and got chipper helped that I pulled Olsen out of my program pack. Running chipper at dh and Elly at 2b hopefully he can’t hold his own there till I can he diamond fielding mod.

@rubicante23_PSN yeah because these so petrified to lose out on stubs instead of letting everybody else eat its nuts. I’ve been very open about talking about my flipping method and ig some people think that’s like frowned upon. It’s ridiculous…

Wish I had just a fraction of your pack luck. If I did I might not be quite as frustrated with this game. It’s still a glitchy mess but the terrible pulls are like dumping salt in an open wound. Feels like I play the game for minimal rewards or progress. That gets old real quick.
