FIX PACK ODDS NOW
-
read my original post it was about making the odds more clear IN game not from a site and it was just an idea.
This was more feedback how did this turn into this.
I know I am very critical of the game and sure on other things I have been a tad out of control but again this was just feedback / idea.

@Christuffer9917_PSN no need to thank me anyone with a brain and eyes can see that they change the odds at times. And there is nothing that says they cannot tighten or loosen their odds through out the season.
If people don't think streamers/partners get better odds, I don't know what to tell them. Blatantly obvious if you watch streamers. Every top streamer/partner pulls the two highest stub cards every year along with a ton of chase cards. At some point it stops being coincidence. I'll just stay in the 4-600's to get my baseball fix where it doesn't matter what cards I pull. I'm perfectly content with that.

I highly doubt they get better odds. What they do is spend thousands of dollars on packs so they are much more likely to get good pulls.

NO they do not -- not a full break down since most would agree there is a difference ( big one ) in Live series high Diamond and LOW diamond. Also if you read my post fully I said this is HOW they should break it down NOT that they do not break it down.
Maybe read my post fully before trying to make a point that is invalid but you do you.
You gotta love when someone is so vehemently wrong. Also, the pack odds links you to the website from in game on your console to view individual player odds. Don’t get mad at me for pointing out something you were ignorant of.

@DemIsE4_XBL They don’t get better odds. They open more packs. They play more than most people. They buy stubs. They buy packs. It’s content for them. They increase their odds by opening more packs. Their packs don’t have better odds. Common sense.

Exactly. And they can write it off as business expenses.

@Ditka06_MLBTS I put in my birth date on my switch version this account and they let me in still. Also my classes don't start at 7 am bubba.
-
@Christuffer9917_PSN lol well do good in class, get good grades.
-
I think sds loosens and tightens the odds throughout the course of the game cycle year. Yes absolutely. As long as by the end of the year the pack odds are close to their advertising numbers thats all that matters. This is common sense also. They can tighten them for a period to try and get people to buy stubs. Then loosen them back up. Etc. Absolutely. Why would this be such a shocker to you guys if this is the case.
-
@Ditka06_MLBTS You have no evidence they do this. Why would they risk millions to fiddle with pack odds? No, this isn’t common sense, it’s wild speculation.
-
@Ditka06_MLBTS I do get good grades, jeez now that I told you how old I am, you changed your personality towards me. I can't win after all.
-
@Christuffer9917_PSN your a child he is grown. Obviously there will be some change.

I agree with that, too much at risk to manipulate pack odds. Besides the fines and the embarrassment of it all, I am sure they don't want to risk losing their licenses with MLB and their subsidiaries. Then SDS will definitely be fried, died and laid to the side.
I had extremely horrendous pack luck at the start, just recently it's started to turn around with Skenes pull, I got Awards Edman from a pack, I even got my 2nd chase pack from a MLBTS pack. I believe luck comes and goes in waves. You just gotta ride it out.
-
My question is that a lot of people say luck comes and goes in waves. Which I see happens a lot. If the odds were truly random why would it happen in waves? Shouldn’t it just be hit and miss but never streaks of super bad and super good luck. Just seems odd.
-
All I know is that I got two chase packs today and they were both Jacob Wilson which I already have. What are the odds of that?
-
Lets use a different example. Craps, it’s a game of statistical probabilities. Ever notice a craps table is dead silent then all of a sudden it’s roaring, then 15-20 mins later it’s dead silent again? There’s your waves of probabilities.
-
I guess. I know probability can be weird but the length of bad streaks and the amount of duplicate cards, even diamonds, is extremely weird. Like getting the same 85 or 87 repeatedly just should not happen too often, but it does. Which is why I think overall the odds my be random but I don’t think they are truly random. Either that or they are super glitched like a lot of other things in the game.

I don't think it's all that weird to see the duplicates. With 85s being the most likely if you do pull a diamond, and there only being 13 85 rated diamonds in the game, you are bound to see some of the same cards. Same with the 87s, since there are only 7 of them.

There is a pretty high chance of pulling two 85 overall cards in subsequent packs.
There is a very low chance that you would pull the same card twice in a row.
Sure it is possible but there are 13 cards with that drop chance in the most recent Chase pack. So hitting a 1/13 chance twice in a row should be a pretty rare occurrence.

I agree with most of your comments on here and i digress a little. But something does seem off at times to other points being made.
