Play your way, not for online players

@samguenther1987_PSN I do not play the cpu on anything less than all star. I know thats a me issue, so mini seasons will require probably 1.5 to 2 runs from me probably to complete most the rewards. I refuse to get worse at the game playing on rookie just to get stats. Trying to get better not worse. Getting worse at the game to stat build isn't worth it to me.
Yes, thats completely fair.
Sorry if I came across as rude or dismissive, was not my intent.

@Onix_Savage22_PSN it’ll be three unless they were lying on stream Friday
-
@On_a_Power_Trip_PSN oh Ik I didn’t watch stream if he’s not needed I may sell now but I also wouldn’t put a lie out of reach.
-
@samguenther1987_PSN no problem I didnt take it that way. Appreciate you.

Online players get no sell cards. Always.
Other than DQ, offline cards are not. This is 100% intended for offline players to not be able to get stubs for cards they don't want like online players can.
In the 23/24 collection model this would be fine for online players, but in the current collection model online players also get screwed by this.
Either stop making everything a collection or make offline cards sellable. Or be consistent and make online cards no sell too.
Cards are only in conquest to reduce the rewards anyway, they took from programs and put into conquest and ms instead. Nobody wants this

This is the rare thread where everybody is right. You kinda have to play offline and online if you wanna be NMS and get stuff done.
Personally, I'd hate it if this weren't the case. We'd have so many more people just only doing one thing in the game, and that would be very boring to me.

I preface this by saying that Madden gets ALOT of things wrong….
But they get this XP thing right in their Ultimate team (MUT). I’ve been on their site for over two years now, there has never been a “Offline vs Online” thread.
I’m offline only over there as well: yes, online gets exclusive and “the best” cards, but there is ALWAYS enough to do offline that , if that’s your preferred option, you can finish a Season( their Inning).
They have ALL the equivalent modes each Season that The Show has: mini seasons, moments, inning goals, programs, etc. but they ensure there’s enough XP to finish however you like to play!
That’s what The Show needs to do. Ensure that each way to play (online or offline) have enough XP to finish BY THEMSELVES. All it takes is a calculator and a little planning. Stop reacting and start being proactive.
And please, can we ALL stop telling each other how to play? And can we stop with the name calling if someone else plays differently than how you like to play?

@rubicante23_PSN Yeah, I think the intent of DD is to do both. They do need to do more though.

Well said. The tribalism is ridiculous and I personally don’t care how people play, what difficulty they play on, or even what cards they have.
The amount of players that inflate their egos with this game by how they play, online vs offline, what difficulty they play, HOF/AS vs Rookie/Veteran, and gate keeping virtual cards because they deserve them for being more skilled than others screams insecurity.
Every card should be sellable and attainable just by playing the game however you want at your own pace. If that means you need to grind more so than someone elite then so be it. However, it should still be reasonable and possible. This is a video game not a real life competition so people need to get over themselves. I promise you others getting cards in this game will not ruin your gaming experience.

I’ve said this several times about your posts this year and last: I can’t upvote your reply enough!!

Thank you. Reading your posts seems like we are very much on the same page with how we feel about this game. It’s a shame because it could be so much better if they just focused on providing a good/rewarding experience for all players.
People would willingly buy the game and probably stubs too if they felt they were getting their moneys worth and rewarded for their efforts. Instead it seems like most of the long time players, elite and otherwise, are pretty unhappy with this year’s installment.

@TripleH-4481_PSN I agree with the exception of the ranked cards shouldn’t be for everyone. But there will always be gatekeepers for collections.
