Play your way, not for online players
-
@DeleteyourTTVBTW_MLBTS well said thank you
-
@Ditka06_MLBTS Not really. Way less xp in mini seasons than last year. 15k for this latest one. That’s nothing compared to the multiplayer program. This event alone gave 10k.
-
@GoozeFn_PSN what other online program besides the 10k for events do we get online? What other online programs give you xp as a reward? More xp for online game play? Does that make that much of a difference? You can play on all star offline and make close to the same. What am I missing? You get way more packs playing offline also. 10x more packs. Tell me please... where online can I grind and make 100s of packs? I stated facts brother. They force us online players offline ten times more then they force you offline players online. So yeah offline players need to stop complaining, because they have go win five lousy games, and actually try to compete against something that isn't a cpu.
-
@Ditka06_MLBTS go look at the multiplayer program. It is littered with big chunks of XP. Way more than anything you get off-line. On top of that you get another big chunk at the very beginning of the event program. It’s really not close at all. No one‘s forcing you or anyone else to do anything. The problem is there isn’t enough XP anywhere. They’ve severely cut down the XP this year and gameplay XP is a joke even when it’s double XP.
-
@GoozeFn_PSN you do not even need to win games to get through the multi player program. Yes I forgot about how much xp is in there ill give you that. Most of us have that completed in a week. Easy to forget. But we certainly have a much harder time completing collections and grinding 100s of packs online ill say that. We are forced to play offline way too much.. they need to do a better job for both of us at the very least.
-
@Ditka06_MLBTS I do both, so it’s not like I’m arguing for one side or the other. I’m just looking at this objectively. For those who really only want to do one thing or the other, it’s harder for off-line players. That’s a fact. Again, I think we can all agree, that we need more big chunks of XP all over this game.
-
I can agree with your last sentence 100 percent.
-
The city scape program gives you one card to obtain online, events and maybe a pack. We have to play two mini season runs (it takes two runs through it to get what you need), a few dq runs (also probably takes two runs through it), and a entire conquest map to complete this program. All I ever hear are offline players complaining. They force us online players offline way more than they force you offline players online. I refuse to play vs the cpu on less than all star because im not going to lose my timing and make myself worse at the game. Which makes my offline grind a bit longer.
It took me one, 7 games, 9 innings plus playoffs, got plenty done. Just didn't do the TB for Martinez which I can do anytime
-
@samguenther1987_PSN guessing he was playing 3x7 which won’t get everything in one go
-
@samguenther1987_PSN guessing he was playing 3x7 which won’t get everything in one go
Yes, that would make sense.
I mean if your trying to get through as fast as you can of course the points won't be there
-
@Teak2112_MLBTS how am I not stating something correctly? For this program there are four or five cards in mini seasons, there are two in diamond quest and at least another card in conquest. Im sorry its eight cards offline and one card online. Not twelve. Tomato tomato.
. Bottom line is this. They took away most of the online grinds, like ranked season innings programs, and battle royale programs. Sds does a horrendous job at keeping both player bases satisfied lets leave it at that then. Everything seems to be false advertising. Play your way, pci shrinkage etc etcAm I wrong or are they not making offline players playing event for 30k pxp for one of the cards?
-
@Ditka06_MLBTS Oh, you only agree with the last sentence? Let me show you the facts then for the 2nd inning:
Online xp:
Multiplayer program - 90k
Current event - 10k
2nd inning tasks - 37k
Total - 137k online
Not even counting the other event programs because I don’t remember the xp and the disparity is so massive it doesn’t matter.Offline xp:
1 mini season - 15k
4 conquests - 17k
Total - 32kI’m not counting the programs or tasks that can be completed either on or offline for obvious reasons. Again, it is a fact that people who only play offline are in a much worse situation.
-
@DemIsE4_XBL it’s a Spotlight series card that won’t be needed for Retro Lightning. No event Cityscapes card.
-
@samguenther1987_PSN I do not play the cpu on anything less than all star. I know thats a me issue, so mini seasons will require probably 1.5 to 2 runs from me probably to complete most the rewards. I refuse to get worse at the game playing on rookie just to get stats. Trying to get better not worse. Getting worse at the game to stat build isn't worth it to me.
-
@On_a_Power_Trip_PSN so wait if he’s not needed for retro lightning there will be 3 in the pack this week? That seems off. It would make more sense to need Cortes and only 2 in the pack this week.
-
@GoozeFn_PSN ok you could be right. I would absolutely count the programs though. I still cannot grind out 100s of packs online. Offline players can. Bottom line is we both agree to make any significant progress in this game we have to play both alot. Thats not play your way.

Yes, thats completely fair.
Sorry if I came across as rude or dismissive, was not my intent.

@Onix_Savage22_PSN it’ll be three unless they were lying on stream Friday
-
@On_a_Power_Trip_PSN oh Ik I didn’t watch stream if he’s not needed I may sell now but I also wouldn’t put a lie out of reach.
-
@samguenther1987_PSN no problem I didnt take it that way. Appreciate you.
