Events is fantastic, though - its the best part of the game this year, and people should be massively incentivized to play it.
There is nothing that is less of an incentive to play a mode that I don't enjoy then locking things behind a 30k pxp in one week grind.

Yeah, I'm not paying 20 to 30 dollars extra a month for one video game to be trolled and to have to deal with toxicity online. Yeah, no thanks. Not to mention, the servers are terrible, and the lag would drive me insane, and I have great internet. The servers just stink. I learned my lesson back in '23 with my nephew. In multiplayer, co-op, it was awful.

@NotesOfJohn_PSN thank you it mostly cause this is the only game I play and dont want to pay for the network access. So play everything else like mini seasons and conquest. Just multi olayer events for me are not worth paying for at all

Will the Cortes card be in the retro lightning he’s not showing up in spotlight collections but I’m hesitant to sell as his price will shoot if needed on Tuesday.

@ApolloZ_99_MLBTS most of them just dont want to play online because its hard. Dont let them try to make you feel bad about it. No one is talking about the people who physically cannot play, or in any way bashing them. Most of you can play. But its too hard and you dont want to be competitive or get better. Rather play rookie vs the cpu. Stop trying to make online players feel bad because they call you out for wanting to play on rookie. You need to get online just like we need to go offline to complete stuff.

@On_a_Power_Trip_PSN I would like the option I’m gonna flip some tonight try to get around 100k cause rn I’m at 39k I would like to buy yeli since santandar will not be useable on legend. I also wanna make sure I can get retro lightning and lightning for weekend classic. I don’t rly care about Micky his card is kinda mid for Micky standards.. he looks like a jack of all trades master of none.

@Ditka06_MLBTS you know what I think I might of jump the gun on you pal. You are alright. But I’m an online player, I dread going offline but I will do it for certain collections. I’m just saying you will have to do it sometimes it’s play your way until they drop something for a certain demographic. Then if you want it you gonna have to make a choice.

I think I will have to pass on being able to collect the weekly spotlight cards from now on.
The idea that monthly show case is practically exclusive to only multiplayer seems ridiculous to me.Another issue is these packs give u random player instead of it being a fantasy pack

I'm an older player as well with a physical disability which doesn't really allow me to use pci hitting (strictly zone for me). I'm generally offline, and pretty terrible when i play online, but i have been able to complete each of the online events this year. This one has been challenging as my offense has been dreadful. I'll keep plugging away tonight and see how much progress i make. Those 25 runs are going to be touggghhhhhhhh.

Jk, I don’t mind them usually, but this event has been an absolute sweatfest combined with tech issues. Massive input lag constantly, pitch warping, I think out of the 13 games I played I’ve only finished three of them-maybe four? I normally just try to complete my goals and be done with it…rarely quit out. But for me to get so frustrated and quit that many games something’s up.

@Sarge1387_PSN I mean, the numbers dont lie - most people dont seem to play Events often. Last night, the app said only 2500 people total have the Carlos Cortes card??
It doesn't take that much Event playing to get that card (maybe three hours? four hours? I dont know.). If less than 3000 people in the world are bothering to get Cortes....then it feels to me like Events is a very small party.
