Why is PCI Shrinkage Back?

No concrete updates as of now, but still the focus of a lot of conversation internally.

I still fail to see why the PCI needs to shrink. All it manages to do imo is give switch hitters a bigger crutch than they already have.

@SDS_JoeK_PSN I apologize in advance for the periodic replies asking for an update, but I hope PCI shrinkage will be addressed at some point. It really is disappointing to see this mechanic in the game after being told it was removed in a pre-release stream

@SDS_JoeK_PSN I’m here again pleading for an update. Online gameplay, in one month of the game’s lifespan, is already turning into a switch hitter fest due to this broken mechanic that we were told was not going to be in the game.

I’ll save you some time. The answer is one of 2 things. Either they don’t know how to fix it without breaking the game or they simply don’t care. Sometimes silence tells you everything you need to know.

I find it funny that your first Legends and Flashbacks Collection Reward is going to be impacted by this senseless, broken mechanic that you refuse to acknowledge at this point.

How can SDS be proud of online gameplay? Or even this game in general this year? In my 10 years of playing this game, this is the worst iteration of The Show since 2018.
From content to gameplay, this has been a terrible start

I love how the patch notes mention that timing effects PCI size…as if you’re telling your players they don’t know what good timing is and how shrinkage still is a joke
I provided an example above of shrinkage on a good timed swing and there’s no reason for a swing and miss on that…only a broken mechanic such as PCI shrinkage is to blame
You all sat there and said it was removed as a last ditch effort to boot sales, and now (poorly) defend the mechanic being in the game

I understand being upset being told one thing and getting another and that’s wrong I get that but he can’t do anything about it but relay ur message to the team and they have clearly made up there mind on the topic. The real problem is the cheaters who are using tools to help them cheat and are time after time getting a slap on the wrist and sds just going “hey don’t do that but feel free to keep play the game just play fair” like yeah ok any low life that’s gonna go to the extent of cheating ever cares to play this game the right way ever again. News flash they don’t there gonna keep cheating cause there getting away with it…
