Lightning cards?
-
@On_a_Power_Trip_PSN neither would I.
-
@GoozeFn_PSN yeah Ik I’m trying to think of who they could be and some cards we can expect from cityscapes.
-
@Dolenz_PSN These bosses have been available for weeks now.
I wasn't talking about the current bosses. I tried to use logic (sometimes silly when deciphering SDS' moves).
1st Inning Bosses = 90 OVR
2nd Inning Bosses = 92 OVRSo I am assuming 3rd inning Bosses would be 94
Unless they have just accelerated the heck out of the power creep and we are swimming in 99s beginning in June instead of after the all-star break in late July.
-
@Dolenz_PSN I’m assuming they are gonna slow it down it’s like an annual thing that the first 99s come out at asg.
-
@Onix_Savage22_PSN Hard to say with so many options. We have no idea what this cityscapes thing is so your guess is as good as mine. The retro lighting might be able to get some guesses for. Larry Walker had an amazing April in 97. Bellinger in 19, but he just got a card. Hank Aaron 59. Vida Blue 71. Stargell 71.
-
@Onix_Savage22_PSN I think that’s why they started higher this year. They wanted 99’s at the all star break and we weren’t there yet. We went from 96 to 99 last year quick.
-
@GoozeFn_PSN I feel like a Vladdy city scapes card is a lock with the famous cn tower skyline as the card art. I could mess with my fellow Canadian Larry. As a Sox fan idk who would get a city scape for us Alex Cora to drop new coaches in the game…
-
@Dolenz_PSN Yeah, I guess that might push the 3rd inning bosses to 95’s. Maybe 94 is right for the bosses and lightning. The 3rd inning bosses last year were the same as lightning 92.
-
I’m assuming city scapes is smt to do with skylines as card arts
-
@GoozeFn_PSN I think you can eliminate everyone you mentioned but Stargell cause I’m pretty sure none of the Jolt guys will get second diamonds this soon - and I don’t even think we’re getting Hank Aaron cards at all cause they put him in the NGL series this year
-
We have no idea what this cityscapes thing is so your guess is as good as mine.
-
@On_a_Power_Trip_PSN Good points. Back to the drawing board.
-
I would expect the cards to have a similar art style to the image they posted earlier.
-
@SaveFarris_PSN I don’t remember that at all. What was it?
-
@On_a_Power_Trip_PSN Big Mac 98, but he recently got a headliner. Pujols 06, not likely. Tony Gwynn in 84 is interesting… Joe Morgan 75. McCovey 63.
-
@GoozeFn_PSN that’s a second possibility: Stargell and Gwynn, who isn’t actually back in DD yet - not sure whether he’s on the offline legends roster (also no, we’re not getting a sub-99 Pujols, Felix or Tulo all year)
-
@On_a_Power_Trip_PSN yeah besides the golds we didn’t get another Roger Beltran or Gil last year if my memory serves me right minus now and later.
-
Realistically is probably gonna be somebody who’s had a above average not elite April but somebody who will be a card people will wanna drop some dough on.
-
@Onix_Savage22_PSN we did! Roger had a 64 overall common in Moonshot 2.0, and Gil’s other launch day card was actually a 79 overall silver (Veteran series, Mets’ TA program). Beltrán, now that I think of it, might’ve been the only one of them who actually did have a gold (an 83 overall Cardinals All-Star, also a TA reward)
-
@On_a_Power_Trip_PSN I know they had other cards sorry I should have worded it better I meant useable nobody was using a 64 Roger or 78 Hodges.
