For those playing as Blue Jays how are you handling the 8 starters for roster set up to start?
-
Gausman
Cease
Ponce
Yesavage
ScherzerLauer as bulk reliever
Trade Francis or AAA. Trade Berrios (if possible).
-
@StinkyMcPooter_XBL where'd ya put Bieber? Funny I didn't even count Francis.
-
Oh, balls. I totally forgot.

I don't have the game open, but I think Ponce might have the lowest numbers of that group. I'd probably move him to the bullpen.
IRL I'm sure Lauer is going to be traded when Yesavage and Bieber are healthy. They would trade Berrios, too, but his contract is an albatross.
-
Lauer is moving to the pen as the long guy, he’s not going to be traded. That’s where he was slotted to open the season before the injuries.
-
Although that's what the Jays have envisioned for him, he has publicly stated that he is a starter. That's the role he wants and believes is best for his career. He will not be pleased with a bullpen role.
To avoid any clubhouse problems, they will most likely move him.
EDIT: Unless more starters take a dump and end up on the IL. That kind of thing will take care of itself.

So ...
Had you told me that Patrick Corbin would be starting for the Blue Jays because they didn't have any starting pitching about a month ago, I would have bet the farm and my left ... baseball.
Like I said, things like too much starting pitching seem to have a way of sorting themselves out.
-
The team is a mess. I can't decide how I want to play it for franchise. 2 years ago I didn't start until trade deadline because of all the moving parts.
Also funny they finally added Schneider(manager) but we lost Walker and Febles.
-
Well, last year they started out like a dumpster fire and turned it around. And no one could have expected that half the team would go down with injuries (or maybe they could in this era fragility).
I play with all 30 teams to keep rosters accurate. You can't force an injury, but you can send someone down to A ball if you're really into realism.
Finally, Pete Walker is one of the most underrated pitching coaches around. Every year his numbers are bunk. It might be for the better.
