Ranked Gameplay - What are we doing?
-
Agreed its just as hard to hit as ever. Harder in fact.
-
How does a guy is fouling off 10 pitches outside the zone and then hitting homerun equate to pitching being easier than hitting? Y’all just type words and forget to read them.
-
@ApolloZ_99_MLBTS It would not kill the game. This game needs a defined strike zone for online play. You could shrink the box and make everything touching it a strike.
-
With good pitchers later in the year and even right now, it is incredibly easy to dot the very corners of the zone. Next time you are in an online game, count how many times a ball scrapes some part of the by the book strike zone. I guarantee that if you are facing an opponent who knows how to pitch, over half of the called balls would be almost unhittable superdots. This game should favor offense, games are more fun that way and the better player wins more of the time. If SDS decides to go full by the book strike zone, basically every game would be a pitchers duel, and this problem would be magnified even more once we get to the endgame where guys have 120+ control
-
@GoozeFn_PSN how would it not? The game needs to cater more towards offense for it to be enjoyable. Any ball can barely scrape the zone almost every pitch you throw. People already love to spam sinker fastball cutter inside. It’s the only part of the game that really shouldn’t be completely realistic. Later in game the pitchers only get better.
-
My suggestion is get rid of the box on your screen you know the strike zone by now. And actually give us abs in ranked. Let the real hawk eyes work the zone. Challenge it if you must. We can all see the strike zone in our heads
-
@ApolloZ_99_MLBTS you know that if they shrank the zone like they’re saying the pitches that clip it wouldn’t be any farther away than they already are, right?
-
@BrthrDarkness_PSN I would def struggle at first but I don’t hate this tbh. It is supposed to be competitive, after all.
-
Yes you all need to stfu about pitching. Its hard to hit as is in this game. 60 percent of squared up balls arnt resulting in hits to begin with.
-
@On_a_Power_Trip_PSN Exactly
-
@On_a_Power_Trip_PSN your wanting any pitch the barely touches the zone to be a strike there is a possibility if they shrink it, it could still knick the zone. But to each their own.
