Weak hits and routine plays.

This game play is miles better than having 99's all over the field. IMO the game gets stale when there are nothing but full 99 lineups especially switch hitters.
There is a massive difference in runs scored against me when I had an outfield of soto, buxton and say judge compared to rafaela, max clark and figgins. I love that defense matters big right now. Outfielders like Soto and Judge really need to hit like 3 HR's each to make up for the runs they give up on defense.

@DemIsE4_XBL yeah I platoon Soto and judge at dh just not viable in the of

Phil Rizzuto is the master (on my squad) of the blooper hit just out of the SS reach and just in front of the CF. He’s magical!!
If only his steal rating was higher! It would be a “triple” every single time he gets a hit.
-
I feel like I ground into double plays more often than last year.
-
Also, bloops wouldn't be nearly as annoying if stealing were fixed to have the same risks as real baseball. Steals are way too free.
-
@rubicante23_PSN singles are triples lol.
-
@LadySwampfox_XBL waaaaaaaaaay more!!! It’s out of control!!!

This is a big issue too. I have Pudge with 90 pop time in my bench for a late defensive sub, my last opponentg stole on him, on a perfect throw, ball got there before the runner, only to be beaten by that slide cheese

Playing 9 innings vs CPU at Coors yesterday, I also noticed that I am not being rewarded for patience at the plate like I should, nor am I rewarded for good PCI location or timing. Flyout city. Kept lining out with that Yankees player from the Egg Hunt program. Frustrating. Feels like I have no control over the outcome of an at-bat despite my efforts to the contrary.

You don't have any control. It is completely RNG based. Thats why if you go to custom practice you can set fastball down the middle and watch the same pitches same swing have 15 different results. Also why pitches warp sometimes. I'm not an expert but just seems like they have compiled to many "fixes" and "updates" on existing code so it is bogged down by everything and why like last year when the "fix" something it breaks something else and why the whatbis now a completely false statement about sliders shrinkage being removed is still happening and now happens on ANY breaking ball and even sinkers sometimes.
