What is the purpose for, say, the minor league uniform collection? I'm purchasing 120 uniforms for about 9,000 stubs . The collection rewards amount to 2450 stubs and 16 packs. Unless one of those 16 packs have a solid diamond, it's a net negative. Is there some benefit that I'm not accounting for or are these collections just for fun?

For me, there is none.
Last year was my first playing the game. I did the collection. Got no real benefits for it.
This year, I need stubs to make the LS Collection, so I sell every items I pull.
The only benefit I see from collecting uniforms, is that you can wear them in the game if you like them. But since you can only wear one uniform per game, I don't see the thrill of collection 400+ jerseys to get like 10 000 stubs as reward.
My advice: sold your items, keep these stubs and buy the cards you need instead of packs.
It is just my two cents. Hope it helps, though.

I don't ever buy them. You'll get them just by opening packs throughout the year. In May/June, usually I'll have collected them all and I'll take my 10 free packs.

Definitely don't buy them.
They should make it so you can't buy them - and you get a good reward for collecting all the various stuff (uniforms, equipment sounds, etc). That would make it an interesting collection to try to get gradually through packs. But, we all know they want most things to be able to be bought, lol

First off as stated don't buy them, i sell them all this early as the price is high and by july it will be quick sell value. So if you just sell dups you'll be surprised how quickly you'll get close, then by that time, it will be cheap by just putting in buy orders for 25 stubs.

I collected My Uniforms and now I cannot sell any of the duplicates. I must have made a mistake by collecting them right away

The collection page is broken for resell dupes after collecting and hope they fix. You can sell them through my inventory or the app.

Never buy them. You get so many in packs. I do find it weird that completing the gold jerseys only nets a 5 pack. It's half the silver but you don't get them nearly as often as silvers.

Remember when the QS value of the gold jerseys was 500? I made my fortune in 23 off a couple good investments and suddenly remembering I could QS all my dupe gold uniforms lol

For me, I like to finish as many collections as I can each year in The Show. This is one of those I can finish!!
