Cody Bellinger....For Real?

I got lucky and pulled him in a BIAH pack. I was surprised to see he is only a Gold rated hitter for a 90 rated card. MVP .305 avg last year 47 dingers and 115 RBIs and only a Gold? Weird to me.

Same with Acuna at 89 overall.

Probably because he batted .260 and .470 slugging %
He probably should be diamond from this year but still. They take 3 year averages for the live series

What’s normal ? he might get more expensive if anything people doing collections + I sense a stub sale happening soon.

Yeah I don’t think he’s ever coming back down, he is the NL gate keeper

Live series cards are underrated and sig series cards are jacked up. It's a complaint of mine. How is Mike Trout not a 97-99? Arenado should be a 95-97. Bellinger should be a 93-95. There are players today that are on par with all time greats and they should be rated as such. Cody Bellinger does not have 88 power on a 125 scale. That's foolish.

It looks even more foolish when prospects are rated as high or higher than the best players. Why are they cra.pping on LS cards so bad

DD is a fantasy mode. I don’t get the hate of the prospect cards. Also LS cards are rated lower to give the mode longevity. I they can’t just release a bunch of god tier cards at launch. Lower ratings early gives room for upgrades throughout the season at keeps the mode fresh. Of they did what you are asking you would just be complaining about the mode being stale. If you want realism go play franchise mode.

Again, it’s a fantasy mode. If you want realistic ratings go play franchise. The current stars will all get upgraded versions later on.
