PCI placement not showing where i put it
-
So this is the issue I've been facing. I've been getting alot of up and in fastball cheesers in ranked play. So of course I'll sit up and in and not move the pci an inch. But after the pitch, it'll show my pci dead center or not where i put it. I tested this in custom practice. Set it to throw up and in fastballs at 100 mph on hall of fame difficulty and I'm crushing them right off the bat and the pci isn't showing different placements after the pitch like it does in ranked DD games. What [censored] gives? I'm not doing anything differently. I have a brand new controller with no stick drift whatsoever. It's driving me crazy.

Do you have the pci setting where it goes back to the middle? I don’t remember the setting name
-
@BnK-24_PSN Yeah thats like the default setting but I'm literally holding the stick up and in and not moving it or letting go. Completely commited to that pitch.
-
@BnK-24_PSN but maybe i should try the fixed pci to combat it idk
-
I know what you’re saying because in ranked I feel like it’s happened to me. But I chalk it up to I’m trying to get the timing down and might slip on keeping the pic there. It’s easy doing against a cpu but online is just different. I’ve also though of getting away from the default setting

I have my pci placement not show realistically on the post swing analysis they show in game. A lot of times it shows I never moved it at all on a swing and miss. I think it is a visual bug.

Might be a visual bug, I have also had this happen on high pitches, I have my pci opacity at 100 percent so I see that I've moved it up there, I have noticed that some of the time I don't let go but relax the pressure a little and I think it snaps back to center, not sure if it's all the time but I know it is some of the time.
A fix for this would be to use fixed zone that doesn't snap back to center -
@PAinPA_PSN yeah thats the only thing I can think of. Also like a previous comment said, idk if its just a visual bug or not.

Even in games vs CPU, I’ve had several “that’s not where my PCI was” moments. It’s kinda baffling. I’m not one of the believers, but this is the kind of visual stuff that the “scripted AB” crowd goes on about.

@Sarge1387_PSN this is a situation where I'm literally sitting on one spot and one spot only because the opponent is throwing the same BS over and over again. Couldn't touch it. Like I said, i tested it in custom practice with hall of fame difficulty (which I'm sure is higher difficulty than i play in ranked, I suck) and had zero issue. It makes no sense.

So for anybody having problems with high inside cheesers, the answer is the fixed zone pci. I set it up and in, took my left hand completely off the controller and hit a perfect perfect the very first try in a ranked match. Lol maybe i found my answer
