First of all. I want to say hey and welcome back to all the good people on this forum. I’m excited for another great season of baseball.

Now I have to complain a little. I’ve been having some fun playing this game like I do every year but can you please make these event programs have other options to play to earn rewards. I don’t mind occasionally playing online games but 99% of the time it’s so laggy it’s miserable to play. It makes it feel less like fun and more like work to have to get rewarded. Even if you have to do more to earn the reward is fine but forcing people to play online isn’t the right move in my opinion.

In the past, Events is what I enjoyed most. Mostly based on the lack of time I have to play multiple Ranked Season games in a row. I honestly did not mind the win counter that was part of events to get to a specific reward either, but for some reason, they moved away from it.

Last year after they took that out, they quickly discovered that Events were absolutely pointless and really didn't serve any point other than maybe moving the multiplayer program along. They needed it to have relevance, but they didn't want to use the "win counter" again. So this is what they came up with.

Honestly, I don't mind it. I like the fact that events have meaning again, and their are actual goals to strive for. My only negative about it is the very quick turn around. 5 days is a very short time and if you are out of town for a weekend, it makes it more challenging to find time to hop on and complete the objectives.

I have a feeling though that these cards that people are missed through event programs will resurface later down the road, just not sure how.

@w1ck3dx24_PSN probably down the road if MP programs. Plus they’re sellable for those in a hurry. I bought Turang thinking I wouldn’t have time to make it, now have 2.

@w1ck3dx24_PSN that’s a fair point. I just wish hitting online wasn’t so inconsistent. Not just hitting. All aspects of the game are inconsistent. The other day I played a game and I was up by one in bottom of the 4th. I go to throw a pitch the game lags the pitch ends up right down the middle. This isn’t uncommon for me. I can hit and pitch on all star with no problem at all. I get online and it feels like a completely different game. Yet I’m forced to play it to get the players.

@yankblan_PSN I know I can buy Turang but where can I ear him? I saw him and Keyshawn in the WBC collection and haven’t seen either of them in the event.

Also I know I can buy some players but with the new programs they make it so you have to play online to earn them.

Turang was a reward in the first event, WBC. Kershaw is the reward for making WS in ranked.

I'm not a huge fan of how short they are, I have to be in the mood to play online and theres a good chance that mood wont strike in a 5 day window.

But its fast enough to earn stubs to buy the player anyway

@Teak2112_MLBTS true.i was talking about the player in the assorted programs section though. Like this week Peralta and you can only get him by playing online. You can’t buy him. I agree the others are usually cheap to buy.

It would be a stretch if the event was 2 weeks long, let alone 5 days.

How long were events in the old days? I can't even remember simple things any more.
