Hi, I'm hoping someone can clarify how gear works. I understand levels of gear by 2x, 4x or 6x for multipliers for perks. But I'm very confused on how stat boosts' are being applied. Equipment/gear provides attribute boosts to my player. Gear is split between diamond, gold ect for multipliers. But I can't find any information on what specific stats get enhanced and by what number. Price isn't enough to differentiate which gear a RTTS position should focus on. Older games always listed the areas of the boost. This correlates with the price for the most part. So let's take one example. SHOES: Certain shoes enhance pitching over hitting and speed. While another might specialize on speed and hitting for a different price. Is there a list? The community market doesn't list it.
Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated. If I spend stubbs, I want them to be effective.

First, gear no longer increases stats. They increase PERKS. If you look up top to the perks tab, it will tell you what they do.

Second, when you select a piece of gear, it will tell you what area it raises (pitching, hitting, etc.) and it will tell you how many perks it affects.

AFAIK all gear of a specific type raise the same perks. Example: all cleats raise pitching & baserunning perks.

No worries. Pretty much the only thing that matters is the quality. Everything else is just aesthetics.
