@sbchamps17_NSW Yep. I don't know whose brilliant decision that was, but that, combined with all the other BS, has made me just not want to play the game at all. I turned it on, looked around, turned it back off. If NHL wasn't in an even worse state with the salary cap, I would be walking away. I'm seriously considering it anyway. They clearly don't want single player DD players anymore. As if the "repeatable" conquest maps weren't enough of a FU.

Honestly the cards chosen for this drop were basically what AI would have probably predicted.
I think we have all the big names not already in WBC/St Patrick's Day
We also have The Show "favorites" like Mullins and CastellanosA couple minor guys liek McNeil and Adolis tossed in
The miniseason saves the drop
However, while the wins on all star arent really an issue for me and Im not good, I think its a terrible direction to go down. If someone wants to earn Nimmo on rookie, let them. Even if it takes twice as long.

Yeah that Arenado WBC card played better than most Arenados of yore. Was very surprised to see him as an end goal for one of the WBC A or whatever it was.

There went play however you want to. Only can get Nimmo is you play it on a level you might detest. They really are constantly going back on what they promise before the game releases. Allstar requirement to win a card on a mode that constantly disconnects. Interesting logic

Dont think they are sellable
Probably just the biggest fluke I have seen in quite some time, but CPU put up 9 runs in 2 3 inning games against me, with no HRs. I see them score 4 runs in a game once a year and they just did 5 then 4...

I’ve never had a problem in All-Star. Hitting at times, but pitching is the same in all game modes against CPU
FB up and in, FB up and in, low outside offspeed. Rinse repeat.
It’s a testament to how to pitch to CPU in every game mode since like MLB 20. There’s no real AI there.
In all star and above just take more pitches, eventually you’ll hit a HR.
Then do that required amount of all-star wins.

Agreed. They could have branched outside their small minded beehive and explored some previous year new thread candidates that changed teams in the offseason.

Thats why I was stunned when it happened. Next three games were back to normal, one run across the three of them
I use pulse though, which leaves pitches over the plate with pretty high frequency but it seems they never hit those (unless a hanging circle change) but will every once in a while no doubt a dotted fastball with a common.

I know what you mean. Some games even on rookie it does appear the computer has “ showdown” sliders and will go rogue. Foul off 11 pitches in a row, like they’re destined to win.
They do seemingly do that more in mini-seasons because I feel like because sometimes that maybe if you’re facing a high OVR team like The whales - It uses their aggression or some other hidden stats against your crappy pitchers.
But for the most part Tulo 99 red diamond AI guy will strike out like a 66 ovr with the pitching sequence above.
