Crashing in franchise
-
It’s happened to me now multiple times, where I’m in the franchise menus making transactions, drafting, or simply going through my team’s stats and the game completely crashes. 4 separate times 2-3 months into a simulation and the game crashes and I lose all of my progress, it’s unplayable. Went ahead and deleted the save file, because there’s no point of playing if it’s going to randomly crash and I don’t know when to save manually, I shouldn’t have to. Truly embarrassing please fix this.

Happens to me all the time as well but not just in the menu also while playing games in franchise. Embarrassing unfinished game

I made a post about this in the General forum. It's not a Franchise issue, it's a menu issue.
The crash happens when you try to scroll through a list of players too fast. It doesn't matter what list or in what mode. I don't know what the cause, but I think it may be with the rendering of the players. If you go too fast, the game takes a dump and crashes.
The only fix I can come up with is save often and don't scroll too fast.

EDIT: I'm almost certain it has something to do with the rendering. I can also reproduce crashing if you cycle through the player list and then hit the player card button before the player model is finished loading. I'm on Xbox, btw.

Now that you’ve mentioned it, it has happened when I’m going quickly through the menu, something that’s unavoidable honestly. That’s probably what the issue is, Hopefully it’s fixed soon. -
What platform? I haven't seen it on PS5.

We're on Xbox.
This will be a good test since you're on PS5: Go to your roster (it doesn't matter which). Scroll down the list very fast. Then, before the player model can show, start scrolling again or hit the player card button.

Something like this? I have seen no crashes in menus or games.

Exactly like that. I'm guessing it's an Xbox issue.
