Co-op batting rotation still broken
-
Even after game update #2, which stated, "Fixed a bug where roles were not appropriately rotating between users." the batting rotation in co-op is still busted.
Whoever generates the last out of an inning - whether via ground out, fly out, strike out, or double play - hits at the start of the following inning. REGARDLESS of batting rotation setting (e.g., by PA, by out, by 2 PA, by 3 PA, etc.)
To make this more clear. If you keep your hitting settings to default with two players in co-op, this is how the batting rotation works if all three players get out:
Hitter 1: controlled by player 1 (first out)
Hitter 2: controlled by player 2 (second out)
Hitter 3: controller by player 1 (third out)
[inning ends]
Hitter 4: controlled by player 1It appears the game is recognizing the inning has ended, but not recognizing that an at-bat happened for the last player to get an out / end the inning
Please fix, SDS.

We were playing last night and my brother got thrown out at third. We started the next inning and all 3 of us were hitting with different hitters that we didn’t choose. Weird times

If you cycle by plate appearance (old school way), and you have an out on the base path (e.g., thrown out at third or GIDP) that will throw off the order, given the current 'glitch.'
