Odd crashing

I have had this happen twice now since early access. When in "Create a player" the game will just crash while making said player. Never seen this before until this year. This is on Xbox also.

I can’t get past the press anywhere to start w out crashing. They need to release a patch like asap

On Xbox my game gives me a message that says check back in a while Service outages happen once in a while. Sit tight! We’re aware of the outage, and we’re working to restore service (0x87dd0006)

I've had about a dozen random freezes/crashes since EA launch. And crazy slow menus in every aspect of the game. Unacceptable honestly.
