Help me define a Meta Score for batters/position players in my Program
-
I am asking this question because the change to the attributes means I need to redefine the formula for Meta scores.
Basically it removed the Discipline and added that 5% to Plate Vision but I am not convinced Plate vision needs to be 10% since that is one of the values they like to play with to make cards fit a certain OVR
Contact (Avg L/R): 20%
Power (Avg L/R): 20%
Batting Clutch: 15%
Plate Vision: 10% (Up from 5%)
Speed: 10%
Fielding Ability: 10%
Reaction (Avg 4-Way): 10%
Arm Strength: 5%I was thinking of removing the 5% from Vision and assigning it to Speed or Fielding.
What are your thoughts?
I may have the program replace reaction for pop time just for catchers -
One thing I immediately notice is contact/power v R is typically more valuable than it is v L, which you don't take into account. Granted, that is variable on what pitcher cards are in the game, but at the moment the bulk of good pitchers are right-handed.

@Axkva2185_XBL Thanks fur responding. I definitely get your point but I am not sure I want to get into assigning weiggted percentages based on that.
This meta score was originally added so that I could see some differentation between all of the 99s. It's kind of like my own personal version of the OVR rating.
