Do you feel like Switch is even a good device, considering if you have it, you're getting scammed IF you buy an MLB The Show game because you technically aren't getting the full game, no stadium creators, no good graphics.

I think you kind of answered your own question. If you're looking for something specific (great graphics, stadium creator, etc) it may not make sense, but if you just enjoy the game of baseball and want to do one of the many options they have (rtts, DD, etc) for fun then it can be a great pick-up.
My son uses the switch just fine focusing on those two modes. And he takes his gaming seriously. He just doesn't overthink it.
So it really just depends what you want to get out of it

Switch is fine for offline grinding on the road. PlayStation portable is way better if you have ps5.

I don't play online, so the Switch is great for offline play.

Im pretty disappointed that SDS didn't build a Switch 2 version of the game like all the other sports games. Even madden was on switch 2 last summer so there was plenty of time. I've been buying the ps5 and switch game for the past couple years. Offline grinding is fine on the switch. Conquest, mini seasons, etc.

Hoping this years release is even better but I won't be satisfied until they build a switch 2 port. The switch 2 is very capable.
