Agreed. Not sure how they have the market completely alone but if EA sports or 2k ever came into MLB space…

EA and 2K used to be in MLB, 2K was always pretty buggy but it had some real cool features like rolling out a tarp with rain delays. With The Showyou have to listen to announcers complain constantly about how the pitchers if there was a long delay, but there is no mechanism in the game for actual delay. . EA was usually really good and less buggy than 2K.

Have you checked out Madden recently? The ultimate team is a money grab and the franchise is stale. It’s not always better. But competition would be best for everything, but I’m not sure the leagues want that anymore.

Micro-transactions are what killed EA baseball. The Show is starting to get just as bad. We need competition, that’s why nothing ever gets fixed, SDS knows they have no competition. The new things they add annually seem more like expansions at full price.
