So I watched the first trailer before the RTTS trailer, the gameplay actually looks pretty amazing to me because I am a Switch player who also just so happens to be playing on the PS5 but I do agree with the people that complain about the graphics because I saw the gameplay comparisons from earlier editions and oh my it looks similar, except that in a comparison I saw with Alex Bregman from 2017 and him in 2025, it seems like the 2025 edition had worse graphics. Now that I have seen the RTTS trailer, it actually makes RTTS way more exciting. But now its harder to understand the attributes in MLB The Show 26 because now there is a reaction sub-category and its kind of confusing to me and pop time is a new term to me. (I am assuming pop time means the timing or reaction of the catcher when throwing to the bases; I don't really understand this attribute fully yet.) Can anyone tell me what the new attributes mean?) Also the Tokyo Dome is interesting. But I saw that the earlier editions like MLB The Show 06 look like it has similar graphics to the newer editions, just noting. And I really hope they improve the home run celebration music because it is unsatisfying and crowd reactions because they literally sound like they are going for the away team in a MILB ballpark even though I selected my team to be the home team in Diamond Dynasty and put in a new commentator like Brian Anderson or Joe Davis (please don't put Don Orsillo because he is legitmately the worst commentator I have ever heard I really hate how he sounds) and add completely new dialogue in the 26 edition.

I know I’m in the minority because of not being a Joe Davis fan at all. He is technically very good and professional, and I certainly acknowledge that and all his fans. I get why he’s loved; but on my ears, he makes my skin crawl the unintentional way he pronounces names and words that end with a sound of “s” or “ch.” As a Blue Jays mega-supporter, every time he said “Yesavichhh,” I could climb the walls with anxiety. Once you hear it, you can ever unhear it again. I know he’s not trying to be that way. I guess it’s a “Me” problem, and I’ll just have to own it. Carry on, and great reading everyone’s posts!

Catcher pop time refers to the time from when the ball hits the catchers glove to when it hits the 2nd baseman's glove on a steal attempt.

@Belli_bomb_PSN I was there for all the Toronto home games, I know! Congratulations! I don’t hate the Dodgers. The two teams were merely opponents in the best World Series ever played! LA has so many likable players. As an AL East member, no excuses are allowed. You win or you don’t. Get tougher.
