Thanks, I went back and looked at that screen. They added four new avatar player customization/attribute areas for the four directions of movement.

Excited to see Pujols back. Scared he will the live series collection reward which means I won't get his 99. Will I even get an attainable Cardinals version or will they give lesser versions to the Angels and Dodgers?
New ratings? How are the determining directional ratings (Left, Right, forward and back). Does that get tracked by some official stat site?
New ratings categories means it will not be the easiest to spin up my program for 26. The standard ratings for fielding are used in so many computations and it will change every screen where I display attributes. Even though it is programmed by ai it will still probably take a ton of back and forth to iron things out. Maybe I can just average the directional ratings for an overall reaction rating?

So looking at attributes
Fielding used to be
FLD, ARM, ACC, Reac
It is now
Ability (just a different name for fielding?)
Four directional ratings (defined as Reaction/jump)
Arm STR and Arm ACC (Split off into their own category)Durability, BR AGG and Discipline look like they have been removed.

@Dolenz_PSN Im guessing there will be a different injury system, don't know why they would remove discipline considering it prevents you from fully swinging when needed, baserunning aggressiveness being removed make sense considering that in my opinion, that attribute was kind of useless but did the attribute mean that a it takes a longer or shorter amount of time for a player to get to their full speed?

Were those only in 2020? That was my first year of DD. You had to earn those by online play, right? I think there were a few available in the XP path.
It also says "an upgraded PXP system". Maybe they change P1 through P5 to Hearts, Clovers, Horseshoes, Rainbows and Diamonds... Sponsored by Lucky Charms. How great would that be?

Red Diamonds were only in 2020. They were the pre-cursor to the PXP leveling system.
The only cards that were Red Diamond-able were:
- Inning Bosses
- XP Path Bosses (there was a separate XP Path back then)
- AL/NL/MLB/Mega Collection (Trout) rewards
- POTM Lightning cards
- Extreme Program rewards
- Face of the Franchise cards (aka Team Affinity 2)
- Finest Cards (aka Team Affinity 3)
I would imagine the "upgraded PXP system" is a re-balancing of PXP rewards. Maybe they've finally figured out that people (like me) immediately stop using P5 since there's no more reward gained by using them. I'd like to see them add more levels and/or have any extra PXP earned by a P5 transferable to another card. I don't know, just spitballing...

I stop using p5 too and obviously using enough to get p5 I like the cards. I just feel like "what's the point" I'm using them. Sometimes I'll use in ranked but I only played like 40 ranked games.

Getting a card to Prestige level in 2020 was pretty difficult because it was online only and the stat grinds were substantial.
