No Switch 2 Edition Again

Producing a game on hardware weaker than the base PS4 likely means little to no innovation again. Not surprised, just disappointed. I guess this is another $70 roster update. Terrific. What happened to the studio, man?

All games on the switch are compatible with switch 2 anyway, itll probably just have a better frame rate on switch 2

Correct, just like 25. The problem is that they have forced cross-play across every platform again, which means performance will be bottlenecked by the original Switch again. The Switch 1/2 has sold extremely well, not sure why they aren't exclusive to their platforms at this point.

I don't know why the Switch is holding things back. You can't create a stadium on Nintendo but that doesn't stop you from creating one on PlayStation

I don't think we can say there will be no switch 2 optimized version for 2026. Not enough info yet. It would be pretty poor to not improve the game with the switch 2 being as capable as it is.
