    A 2K-like franchise mode would be the hook for me. Also, you don't necessarily need to license everyone (obviously). In create-a-player, give us the option to create a player with pre-simulated stats and allow us to edit them and we can create a lot of these guys without you having to license them.

    As much as I would like a mode like this to exist in MLB The Show, it's not exactly a realistic request anymore. NBA 2K only pays around $500 per retired player, except for MJ. How they were able to get a deal like that, we will never know, but SDS could never get Sony to realistically compensate each player for a mode like this to work unless they gave us default rosters with a few real players and allowed us to fill in the rest.
