I know this will never happen for many realistic reasons but I just throw my idea out there.

As a baseball fan who watches international leagues like KBO and NPB, I thought maybe in the future, SDS should try acquiring licenses for Korean and Japanese league. This way SDS can potentially make some Japanese users play the Show instead of ProSpirits along with Koreans as well since there's no console games for KBO at the moment on PS.

Think of this like FC25/Football Manager of baseball where in franchise mode you can be a GM of any teams in the world, or be a player from a different league then move your way up to the big leagues.

Baseball is no longer an American only sports, countries like Japan and Korea live and die for the sports. Now many players are coming from different leagues and playing in the MLB. Correct me if I am wrong but ard 40 players came to the major league from posting in recent years.

I think it would be nice if:

RTTS you can choose multiple storylines like starting at KBO or NPB then sign with an MLB team via posting, you can be an American born highschooler then go to NPB like Carter Stewart. Or Be like Merrill Kelly who struggled in the minors then went to KBO for a couple of years then return to MLB and play above average.

Franchise you can pick some players who are posted and sign them. Or start as a NPB GM then build your reputation then sign with a MLB team.

I know realistically it is difficult to do all that especially because it is DD that makes SDS money not in game features like these. But if international gamers buys MLB The show for their league then potentially play DD, SDS could make more money.

Another reason this might be hard, I think in OOTP 24 NPB stopped giving right to use their license which coincides with rebirth of ProSpirits which I am highly suspecting Konami might have got the exclusive right to use it. So there's that issue. But for KBO, I believe players and the league commissioner are open to that since KBO at the moment really wants global exposure(cannot find the exact article but I think commissioner Heo once mentioned).

I have been playing this game since high school and I have been buying every single year (I really shouldn't have) I had this thought for many years hopefully one day SDS will actually listen to improvements users suggested here (which are super creative and brilliant) along with mine.
