Co-op matchmaking is broken — 4 straight games vs the same 900-rated squad

So me and my cousin are just chilling in the 600–700 range, nothing serious. We queue up for Co-op… and MLB The Show decides to match us with the same 900-rated squad FOUR TIMES IN A ROW.

Bro… FOUR.
TIMES.
IN. A. ROW.

Every time we backed out, we got them again like we were stuck in a loop.
And because of that?
They literally climbed into the Top 5 off our backs.
Just free rating handed to them because the game kept feeding us to them.

I can’t make this up.

And the crazy part?

These dudes were hitting .700+ with mid cards.
Not 99s, not endgame cards… regular cards.
And EVERYTHING we threw got nuked — pitches out of the zone, perfect pitches, chase pitches, whatever.

In Co-op.
With vision penalties.
On Hall of Fame.

It made no sense.

So… is matchmaking broken or what?

I’m not trying to accuse anyone of cheating, but the whole situation felt insane.
Four matchups in a row, massive skill gap, and then they jump the leaderboard because of it?

Anybody else running into this?
