So anyone got any guesses on cards for this weeks content (no reveals are out yet)

    Tues - Retro Finest
    Fri - New XP Path
    Fri - New Player Program
    Fri - New Diamond Quest

Now, the Friday content could all be either more Retro Finest, Rewind Rewards or a mix.

Here are Legends without 99s still that could be retro cards. One of them could be the Player Program.

We could also get retros for other guys like Paul Goldschmidt who for the first time since, at least 21, does not have a 99 this year.

The Player Program could be someone like Kyle Hendricks who has announce his retirement.

It's just not seem like there are many options left for cards that will get the average player excited.

Maybe I’m thinking about it wrong, but I feel like Retro Finest is going to end up being just finest cards from older games

In the past it has been a mix. Last Year Joe Morgan had a 1972 Retro Finest, Juan Marichal a 1965 finest and Willie Mays a 1955 Finest. So they could use this program to catch up on some of those legends.

But I also think someone like Goldschmidt is a real possibility so it could be a mix.

Last year the "Retro Finest" (Just called finest) series had 60 players. With so little hype I am expecting a much smaller drop this year.

I would say Chili Davis, Eddie Murray, and Terry Pendleton will get cards. They have what SDS (and the player base) cares about far above anything else.

@Teak2112_MLBTS Okay, I had to look it up to realize you were talking about all three being Switch hitters.

Paul Goldschmidt would be an obvious choice

Hard to imagine they wouldn't release a 99 Lee Smith. If they were going to release realistic versions of Lou Brock or Ozzie Smith, then this could be a good time. Usually they release a super-loaded Willie Mays around this time or later too. A longshot but maybe a Hank Aaron with better defense?

I don't believe for an instant that giving Ozzie Smith a card with his trademark Defense and better stealing attribute (he is 22nd all-time in stolen bases) is even on the table at this point.

I do have to believe that Lou Brock is still going to get an upgrade since he only has a 91 (maybe a speed captain).

A new Willie Mays card negates his Neon Captain card. The giants next highest hitting captain is a 91 OVR

I doubt any other Hank Aaron cards either. His Moonshot card, based on the numbers, is still one of the top 5 offensive cards in the game. I am kind of unsure why someone with Aaron's power was even added to the Moonshot program.
