Yes, I hope the game gets the overhaul it needs (one that works!). But if you're complaining that ROOKIE is too difficult on Conquest then it's time to look at someone besides SDS as the problem.
Have you played it today? Your point tries to hit a point but only came off as snarky.
The question has anyone noticed the change today?
I never mentioned bunting my way to victory, again not relevant to my initial question. I figured I would get an answer on this forum. Thanks anyways for the "get gud" comment. You should have said that and save the effort.

I played a number of conquest games today for the Jackie missions. There wasnt a single difference that I spotted. Rookie is still as easy as before.

I’m only 5 strongholds away from finishing the Mays map and I played a few games this morning. I just beat Boston 18-2 and that was while using a bunch of mediocre silvers and golds to try to finish a couple TA missions. So, no, it feels the same to me.

It’s in your head man. I still have to run myself out of innings just to get the game over with.

I've noticed rookie is different. They still will hang something but it's not nearly as much, you just have to wait for it now ( I am TERRIBLE at waiting) . Ive been walking playing on rookie which never happens

Conquest stronghold games have always been somewhat like this, regardless of difficulty level.
To answer your question, OP, no I haven’t noticed anything different today. I played two all star conquest games yesterday and both games the cpu came back to tie with a home run.
It’s annoying, but nothing really new. I will say the pitchers on the lower difficulties are way more stingy than when I first started playing the mode in 2016.

This is what you have to do. Playing on anything below HOF or legend is awful. I don’t even know how many home runs I’ve given up on rookie and veteran but I always get more hits and score more runs on HOF and legend.

Nothing I said was, or was meant to be snarky. You're getting defensive for no reason. Yes I've played it today and it seems the same as it has all year.
And u completely misunderstood what I was saying about bunting. In past years (and this year also but it's not quite as easy) if I played a conquest game on rookie I'd hit a couple of bombs in the first and then bunt out the rest of my ABs cuz the CPU was no threat whatsoever!
If you consider a CPU skill level where a player of any competence at all could EASILY put up 10-15 runs in 3 innings a fun endeavor then go back to 19 I guess? Maybe that makes sense? Hope so. But I wasn't being a d@#$ @all.

Generally the rewards are better as well.

Yeah the CPU hits HRs at an alarming rate on the lower difficulties.
