I admit, I have reserved expectations, 30 new FB or Legend cards following up an already solid FOF set, then another 60 cards equal or greater releasing over the course of the season seems aggressive.
What’s everyone’s thoughts? Huge sets of grindable cards, or more packs, stubs and XP?
The Prestige level of XP was a pleasant surprise, so I’m not sure what to expect.
The way the program is set up, they’ve sure set up high expectations, will they deliver?I think its going the be awesome and will make for a vast variety of options and lineups
this is correct.

There are two ways this goes...

great cards are released for spring and summer and half the people complain that’s it’s a money grab because there’s no way to get all the cards without exchanges. Especially if those cards are necessary to get this year’s honus or they crash the market On other expensive cards that people already own.
-
packs, stubs, icons, and nameplates are released and the other half complain that sds doesn’t listen to the community and they wasted their time getting teams to 70 points so they could get a nameplate that no one wants.
For me, I’ll like it either way. To be honest, I don’t know which one I’m rooting for. I find there’s plenty to do. But, if I was guessing, I would guess option 2. The rewards will be cool, but I don’t think a cool card will be trapped behind 250 affinity points.
-
What are you on about here? You can still get TA points through innings, MTO, and showdown. It is in no way a money grab.
-
They already said it would be player cards in the pre-release DD stream and there are diamond outlines at certain thresholds on the TA screen. Will we get packs, nameplates, etc.? probably. But we are certainly getting player cards as well
-
-
I'm expecting 90-92 cards that are usable but everyone complains because it's two months in and they arent all end game cards.
I expect the summer affinity to come out in late July and be around 95 cards, and fall around September and they will be 98-99 cards.

I revisited that stream and didn’t catch your 2nd point the first watch, but it did say a different type player reward in future stages.

I don't even understand your option 1. They've already said they are releasing new showdowns for the new TAs, why would they change to requiring exchanges to advance these? What?
-
-
I have 28 FOTF cards and will have the last 2 done soon. Mixture of showdown, innings, moments, collections and exchanges to get these done
cards, stubs, packs, icons, nameplates, whatever it is i am all in, cant wait.
im thinking something like 'flashback favourites' is up next
Stage 4 having an option to prestige one of the previous earned team cards would be cool!
-
I definitely feel that since prestiging cards is a fairly major part of this game (whether you like the online only portion or not) that we do see something like prestige the FOTF or something of that nature at some point

I thought that too, but then theres already a 99 Posey, soo a Prestige FOTF Posey wouldnt make sense either .. maybe for some others? ..

Just saying what I think will be posted. I don’t personally agree with it.

Sweet. I didn’t know that. Thanks.

Honestly forgot that was the giants FOTF since the card is among the more underwhelming especially when there is that 99 posey

Clearly, I was misunderstood. Part of my post was in jest since half the posts on this forum are about how sds rigs everything. I, personally, am excited no matter what comes.

I want team specific Stance socks and and a decent 90-92 OVR player.
-
As long as the card is higher than 89 I’m okay with it. Not everyone is meant to be a cheat code. It wouldn’t make sense though for them to give us 89s and then hit us with 85s. I’m expecting somewhere around 90-94.

Gotcha...sarcasm doesn't usually travel well over the 'net. I think TAs are super generous as well and also are still some top cards even though a 2nd set is due out next Friday

Anyone notice that the TA 120 reward says "coming in the future"! while all other levels say " coming soon"? Anothe FS card at 120?

That’s the reason a lot of people think it’ll be more prospect cards.
-
Should I save up vouchers or do you think round 2 will require new vouchers from new showdowns?
-
I'd put money on Spring being Legends and Fall being Finest. Summer could be either All-Stars or Legends Round 2.
