Is Clemens still worth the stubs?
-
I’m sitting at 361,500 stubs and I’m contemplating shelling out for judge to get Clemens and make a push for World Series tonight. Is he still worth the stubs? Or should I go with Ubaldo, or someone else. Any insight would be appreciated.

He’s still probably the best pitcher in the game. Ubaldo price will cut more than half during the weekend classic. Plus I don’t think he’s good at all online on any difficulty.

I bit the bullet and bought Judge and definitely glad I did because I wanted Clemens and O'Day and now I already have Clemens P3 and O'Day to P2, I love using both of those pitchers

@TwinTurno_PSN The gap has closed … so my answer is: If you have a good starting squad you can handle —> he is not worth it … I have him P5 and I would not state, that he is a must for every rotation. He was but there are too many options rn

There are so many SP options. He's solid in my lineup but if you can pitch you'll be fine.

Personally I got shelled everytime I used Clemens. And I also hit him really well. The ball is SO EASY to track out of his release. I think he’s the most overrated card in the game…..However, Alot of players who are better than I am say he’s the best. So basically try him or don’t….I hope this helped

His slider and splitter hang alot. I have more success throwing the spliter like belt high inside and outside tunneled with the outlier. If you always throw it low its Def gonna hang. I'm good enough with him but I thjbn after about 5 ip he gets figured out

I feel like I can’t get lefties out with him, especially if the opponent is a decent hitter. He needs a cutter tbh.
Troy Melton from the tigers is basically the same card (same delivery motion) with a better pitch mix, he is so much better than Clemens.

@virusts_XBL Kershaw is better.

Yeah I would probably agree since I pitched overall better with him than other cards. His funky stretch mechanics wins it overall.
