I don't think it's right some teams get more than 1 signature series player. Spread the wealth to all teams.

I've always said that based on their history and the size of their fan base that I understand the Yankees having the most cards but this drop will put them about 12 cards ahead of the nearest competitor (The Dodgers with 47) and more than 40 cards ahead of the last place team (Diamondbacks with 18)
So it is not about them having the most cards it is about the ratio in comparison to other teams.

Why not give the DBacks a Goldschmidt or Finley here?

I had to doublecheck that LuGo is in the game this year. He is, but barely. The team with 18 total legends in flashbacks has one of their top player in history having only a silver card for the Marlins

As much as I would like a Cardinals MVP Goldy it would be hard to be mad at them giving him a Juiced Diamondback card. They are hurting bad when it comes to being able to field a decent theme team. Only Colorado is worse and they are getting a card today that might push them ahead of Arizona.

Because SDS just doesn't care about smaller market teams, I guess. They milked the [censored] out of the Red Sox this year, so why not add a Curt Schilling or a Moises Alou, or even a Josh Beckett, or a Troy Tulowitzki. Something to help out Arizona, Miami, or Colorado.

Like, i've never been in the mode of f' this game...but i'm so over collections. There are bigger things that SDS can work on, instead of the constant peppering of collections. I know i dont need them. Dont need any of them TBH, i'm not quitting the game....i'm just confused. I know we've had collections in the past. Sets and Seasons, whatever....this is getting old.

Join the club.
With 16 total cards and 3 Yankees and 2 Twins. That makes 13 teams. So more than half the teams in the league are getting nothing in this Signature drop.
Add in the Spotlight drop and it is still probably almost half the teams.

I assume Schilling isn't in the game because he would just give SDS the finger if they asked.
Greatest pitcher without steroid allegations that isnt in the Hall of Fame, purely because he is a massive [censored].
But Upton and Montero can't be expensive to help out the DBacks

I am playing less this year and completing fewer programs. One of the reasons I play fewer programs is because as the number of program card has decreased the odds of them having a player I want to grind for has also decreased.
I also made a promise to myself that this year I was going to play more with the Cards theme team instead of constantly playing some squad optimized for completing a program.
So today I am actually looking forward to updating my program more because the fielding and speed updates are going make my History screens look awful.

I made a post in the wrong thread about how rewarding programs were two years ago vs this year. Not just in card quantity, but in other rewards. the mid august program in 23 (Great Race) had 10 cards, 35 show packs, 12 ballins and a bunch of other stuff
We will get 5 show packs and 750 stubs. Cant wait!

If it makes SDS $$$, which it does, of course they're going to milk the hell out of it. Come on, the meta cards are locked behind collections and most people don't want to repeat a conquest over and over again mindlessly or flip cards on the market waiting for an entire month until the next update hoping they strike gold, so they'll just resort to purchasing stubs to complete the collections. -
