PSA - Flash Sale - 8/12/2025

Vault pack for 30,000, limit of 2. Right now. the "expensive" HR Derby cards are down from about 70k to 30k (HRD is the only collection I'm missing right now).

Significant drop in Witt Jr and JRam as well.

I've been holding LS Marte and pipeline Schwarber for the last couple days waiting for them to go back up a bit. Thought about selling both yesterday when they were both around 90k. But i got greedy for the extra 10k and was hoping they'd go to 100k. Well F me i guess lol

If my pack luck didn't absolutely suck, I'd probably get 1, but I'm not buying into the hype lol

Just buy a bunch of cards to flip in the morning and then forget to flip them until after the sale starts and watch their value plummet.

I was flipping the HRD cards this morning, and got upset when prices went down a bit and had to eat like a 3k loss on them. Little did I know at the time it could've gotten alot worse lol

Well I'm flat broke but I have every collection done now, thanks to the flash sale.
HRD was the last set I needed.

Isnt it funny that noone actually buys the flash sale pack - they just direct buy the players whose value has plummeted.
SDS needs to make it a reasonable gamble to buy the packs - it should be like betting black at the roulette table, not a 90 percent chance of losing money...

I bought one of them, got Bobby Witt, thats what got me the rest of the HRD cards.

Prices on big live series cards go down some during Flash Sales, but immediately jump straight back up. Odds just need to be better on Live Series this time of the year. No sense in live series still costing so much when we aren’t even gonna use any of the cards except for a couple rewards. I need Judge and Witt. Bought Shohei during the stub sale because I was stupid enough to buy stubs. Just not gonna do that with Judge and Witt. I was close when Witt went under 80k during flash sale, but I didn’t want to gut my remaining stubs for live series cards.

Live series cards arent the problem. Its fine that its still hard to get Beltran, but if you made it your focus you should have him nms.
The problem is the sheer mountain of cards that are in packs with little way to reliably earn. Buying half your binder with stubs is terrible design. there was a better balance in prior years

@Teak2112_MLBTS if I hadn't used my stubs to invest in players (and honestly got really lucky) i would still be trying to finish live series. I finished about 5 weeks ago though by finally having enough stubs to buy Witt, Lindor, and Judge.
