Foul balls are a huge problem. I even get them when my pci isn’t anywhere near the ball. I feel like I can’t get anybody out using the best pitchers in the game because it is foul ball after foul ball and you cannot strike anybody out no matter where you throw the pitch and how bad the timing is. I often play against very good players, and it just sometimes feels hopeless with how predetermined some of these at bats are.

Okay. Start power swinging if you are trying to strike out more.

@Cam8w_MLBTS agreed. I can understand if it's a good contact guy with good vision, but when a hitter with no batting attributes over 50 fouls pitches off like a prime ted williams that's annoying. I seriously think it has to be programed that way because the majority of runs scored in this game is by hitting homers. The crazy amount of fouls were probably programmed to be balls put in play, outs or not.

I pull everything... All year. My fault for not adjusting but I feel like when I look at batter analysis after the game if I have like 20 "good contacts" then about 12 of those were pulled foul with 100 plus exit velocity

Previous years I never pulled stuff so much altho I've tried to bias my team with extreme pull hitters and maybe that has something to do with it

Yes 100% agree there are to many fouls. I have both been a victim of 0-2 15 pitch at bat that ends in a HR and been the person being basically handed a HR. It is very annoying and I wish they would figure out how to improve this (increasing wif rate per swing at balls out of the zone or something). Unfortunately it is an RNG ran game and the individual saying use power swing if you want to strike out more needs to not be an argument baiter and actually have constructive input.

Well understanding that yes cards attributes should be a factor and contact, vision, discipline need to be factors in at-bats. It should not be a saving grace for when someone has no actual plate discipline. Anyone who has played the game knows they have seen multiple fouls on pitches that are literally intentional waste pitches no where near the strike zone that are fouled off until you make a bad pitch and get to see it sail to the moon. It needs a tweak just like we need to see pci shrinking on breaking pitches and sliders get tweaked (interesting the reason the pci shrinks on these pitches was a supposed fix in 23 for foul balls lol).

Agree, today I was in one of those at bats where I hit foul ball after foul ball until I sent a hanging pitch to the moon.

Another fix needed is the missed call by the ump on a 2-2 count, that sets everything up for a three homerun.
