Player positions

Hey mlb can you please fix player positions? It’s a lot of cards that don’t have players secondary positions like Mickey mantle also played left field and lindor has played second base but their positions are just their main ones

I feel as though is people are buying cards from grinding or uploading money they should be able to use players base on what they played in real life. I bought lindor and mantle knowing they played two positions but I wasn’t paying attention now I have a out of position penalty

You can use centerfielders in any outfield spot and the only lose the same as a secondary. Some shortstops can even play center with out the position being a secondary.

It is rather annoying because it makes things much less flexible but if we are talking about Mickey's 98 overall All-Star card from 1957 he did only play CF that year.
Looking at Lindor fielding stats at Baseball Statistics he has not played a single game at second base in 11 years in the majors.

This is just another cash grab for SDS. The less position flexibility you have, the more likely you'll want more cards from the marketplace that you need, which results in more stubs being spent.
