PSA - why are any of you buying packs for 75K when you can get all 4 top picks for 74K or less in the market. Again, why?

Us who know are waiting the extra 6 hours for the repeatable pack to be in the cq map, sure that pack will have a ton other cards besides these 13, but by then you won't be paying even 50k for any of them. -
@GoozeFn_PSN My guess is they figured out what is going on and that these cards are going to likely tank, HARD, AFTER they bought the packs, so they are recovering what they can. Otherwise, I have no idea. They are both choice packs so there is no "buy a pack with random card, get wrong card, sell card to buy another pack" possible here. In a way this is the best thing SDS has done all year (you can flat out buy a 99 for less than 75k), but I don't think many will have that opinion, on the packs themselves at least, by the end of the night. If it plays out the way it seems like it will, the draft drop actually WILL be the best thing they've done all year, but if it does end up that way, these packs will be the shadiest thing they have ever done.

Wait for the Conquest map that is repeatable and just grind and hope the RNG gods are with you and DO NOT give SDS the satisfaction of WASTING your hard earned stubs.
SDS you do not learn but the problem is it's not SDS cause they only do it cause they know silly fans will buy the packs even when they prolly should not do it. -- this is just my humble opinion

My son has used the stubs he earned to buy 7 all star packs. He got 6 Randy Rodriguez
I'm hoping it teaches him a little lesson so he doesn't some day spend too much real money on these packs. -

It will all players from the limited time packs plus a whole lot of others, they didn't say how many but I'm guessing the amount in the program minus the total for the collection (34) that will be the amount in the pack, there are 13 already between these 2 packs so that's probably a very lot more.
My guess: The top 5 will be the top tier the other pack will be middle tier and all the new ones will be base tier.
But the pack will be repeatable in the cq map and I'm sure they will make their way into lots of programs and the shark map whenever that's coming -

@dbub_PSN because I have more stubs than I’m able to have. Investing since day one has me hiding stubs in cards and just buying any and all packs that drop. Now for 95% of people, buying packs is stupid, but I’m not in that boat.

@Finn_Scotus_MLBTS I have been buying the 25k pack and over about 200 packs I’m up several hundred thousand. Those packs actually are some of the better ones they have dropped. You are guaranteed 15k of your 25k back and you hit a PCA, Lindor, or Skubal you make stubs. Hitting one of those three is not that rare.

Good call. I wish I was in your position. Last year I was because I was able to do a ton of flipping. This year I've tried flipping numerous times, with little to no success. That's why I'm stub poor this year and I still won't spend another dime. Not giving into SDS and buying stubs. That will never happen.

@dbub_PSN investing. Takes some time but you can easily double your stub investment in the first several roster updates. It sucks being stub poor at first, but after you make several million it’s a different game.

Oh I know. I got every possible attainable card in the game back in both '22 and '23.
This year I stuck to my NMS guns and still have finished every collection besides MLB draft and topps now. There are a few cards on the market I want and can't afford, but for the most part, this year is not terrible, just much more challenging.

@LHUBison58_XBL I was over 20 packs deeps. Only drew 3 rares out of it. Cost me quite a bit of stubs so just depends on your luck
