All-Star Elly

I absolutely love using Elly cards, this year I haven’t been able to hit water if I fell out of a boat with him. I’ll admit I’m not the best player, but he went right in my lineup. Led off my first ranked game of the night with a HR to right, he homered again in the 5th and 7th innings. In a 6-5 win, 3-5 with 3hr’s/4rbi. Single handily kept me in it.

I think his hitting attributes are better than the CA version.
But I value defense more and even with thst CA at P4; it's defense and speed/steal attributes are better than the AS version.
Plus, I'm working on P5ing the Prime Apricio(sp); so he's in at shortstop and the CA is on the bench for late game defense.

I P5'ed the previous 2 versions, and should do the same for this. The CA version made a lot of errors for me, but the good outweighed the bad. Hopefully, the defense isn't too much worse!

I'm struggling to justify using his all star card. I have his live series and cover card both P5 and theyve been some of the better cards in my lineup all year. His all star card has terrible fielding and 80 stealing while both other cards have 99. I can barely steal 2nd sometimes and can't ever get 3rd anymore while his other two cards were basically 100% success for 2nd and 3rd. I have no idea why they destroyed his stealing stats and his fielding but I'm not sure the slight hitting increase is worth swapping cards. Might put the CA card back in my leadoff spot.

With all due respect use any and every card you want to. But with actual card usability as a standard the all-star elly is 100% better then the other 2. He has 100+ contact BOTH sides, 100+ clutch and over 90 power vs lefties and 100+ vs righties. Yes the nerfed fielding and stealing down to 80 to get him to a 96. Still a gold shield @ p5 without having to worry about clutch rating or pitcher type.

@Rhyno1986_XBL absolutely true his hitting is significantly better but I use elly to lead off and get on base. His CA card for me right now is batting .455 with 35hr, 63 rbi, and is 79/80 on stolen bases in 129 games. For some reason his hitting stats feel like they play higher than they actually are. For me personally I prefer him to get on base and get in scoring position which is why I'm a little disappointed with his all star card.

So I have one voucher
Is Elly the best choice? I am thinking that he is. Contact, power and speed, even if they did reduce his steal attribute.

@Dolenz_PSN Probably Elly for the team vouchers. Pete Alonso has been hitting well for me, but he definitely isn't a five tool player though.
