Tell me if I'm wrong but isn't it better if you take the sell now price if you get more than if you put a sell order in?

@sbchamps17_NSW You do want to take the 10% tax into consideration. But, I don't know of a scenario where Sell Now will be better than a Sell Order since one usually puts in an order higher than the Sell Now price.

Say that I pulled Tatis and wanted to sell him his buy now price is 150k but his sell now price is 145k so when I put a sell order in for him it turns out that the sell now price is better than if I put the sell order in for him. People have been saying not to take the sell now price because you still have to pay the 10% on that price so am I doing wrong

You get taxed 10% whether you use Sell Now or place a Sell Order. The seller is always taxed, the buyer always coughs up 100% of the price. So, seller gets 90% and 10% is removed from the game (regardless if it was Sell Now or Sell Order).

So it's actually better to put sell orders in instead of using the sell now price

Only time you’re not taxed is on a quick sell

The one calculation I usually do is whether the lowest sell order price minus the tax will put me below the quick sell.

Not necessarily, let's say in the instance the quick sell is 100 and the sell now is 109. In this case because of the tax 10% on player to player sell you only get 99 stubs. So the quick sell is better. But sometimes the sell now is 157 but the lowest sell orders is 299. So if you put in a sell order of 298 you actually make slightly more stubs. I personally only worry about putting in sell orders if the deviation between the buy, sell, and quick sell is more then 50 stubs. Otherwise I just feel it's faster to quick sell 10 of the same card at lets say 150 stubs then trying to sell each on individually for 167. But it basically comes down to you and what you're trying to do. Frankly speaking though if you are buying a card never buy now price unless it's within 5-10 stubs. Always put a buy order in
