I didn't realize that they added 2 more moments so I still have those plus still have to finish the HRs with Cubs and HRs with right fielders and Cubs PXP but did the strike out mission

"Hit 1 Home Run" moments are my least favourite thing in this game lol. This will be a rough program for me haha

I'm trying to keep up because moments are the most monotonous least fun mode in any game to me and I do not want to have to complete a string of them in a row.

@Ledfoot_19_PSN I could imagine the amount of posts on here if they had just dropped the program at the end of the month with 20 or 21 "hit a homerun in a single AB" Moments! That would have driven a lot of people away from this program, but I am glad that they are dropping them little by little.

@DodgerMatt93_NSW I’m an SDS “fanboy” but I agree. Love the game, love the content, love the competition and I don’t mind doing the grinding (smartly), but I definitely don’t get excited for the HR moments. I’m not that bad at them, just kind of a buzzkill. Always extra stoked if I get the HR on the first AB.

If I do it, it'll be when the whole thing is out. I don't really care for his swing, and a juiced up Corbin Carroll will be in my line up longer than Sosa would. It doesn't feel worth it.

Tried it for a few minutes today LOL. “Hit a Home Run while this pitcher jams you inside right on the line or spams sweeper low and away”. I’m not a great player (I play Rookie as my default for a reason) and with the low frame rate on Switch… yikes. Even if I square those pitches up perfectly I don’t think it’s going out.
First program I won’t be completing.

@DodgerMatt93_NSW You have probably heard this before. But my advice is switch to directional and just hold up. With the 125 power on him you should be able to get it done no problem.

Ok we are making progress. Still using zone hitting but I’m anchoring the PCI as low as it can go and just selling out for the low garbage pitches. After many many retries it eventually worked for moment 2-5, on #6 now. This isn’t fun by the way SDS lol

@DodgerMatt93_NSW . I completely understand, I just started using zone so it's been taking time to hit a HR but I did it now working on the missions

Eventually got all 8 done. For some reason veteran moment pitchers are obsessed with the bottom of the strike zone so I just camped my PCI there and hoped for the best. Took more attempts than I’d like to admit to for some of them

Sosa was never a huge favorite of mine. I'm grateful for that now as I'm terrible at HR moments.
I doubt I'll get this one completed. Oh well.
