Is there a big difference between ps4 and ps4 pro?

Not gonna lie.. graphics look absolutely terrible and idk if its because I dont have a ps4 pro. When I'm in the batter's box the pitchers face just looks like 3 pixels mashed together it looks so bad. It's not my monitor cause that's good quality I'm thinking it's either just bad graphics or the old ps4 sucks and cant display good graphics.

Is your tv old too? A 4k hdr display and a pro looks beautiful for god of war and horizon, mlb just has loads of assets and fans running in background so the detail won't be as great without sacrificing some detail on the 7 yr old hardware

No I use a almost brand new monitor. I just think the pitcher looks soo blurry from batter's view.

Looks fine for me, but I'm not super picky when it comes to sports games.

A 4k monitor? And if it's not ips the viewing angle matters a ton

A pro significantly lessens load times during menus/offline play. Doesn't improve game play or graphics all that much.
A monitor definitely helps with hitting though.

On the pro you can change different modes, do you want better graphics? Frame rate? Or a mix of the two that isn’t optimized for either. I play with it in the middle and have an 80” 4K Vizio in my living room and I don’t think it’s blurry. I think my screen is a little slow though because my timing is GARBAGE compared to previous years.

Graphics get a big boost, just in this game the higher fidelity mode shuts frame rates down to 10 fps and you have to keep it on performance for a true 60 fps

The 5 comes out this year. Would it be better to wait and buy that?

Heidi Watney is the absolute worst. I feel bad for her that they portrayed her as a cross between Barbie and the Burger King

I bought the PS4 just shy of its 1st birthday; it’s like a jet engine in my living room. Not going to make that mistake again.
We should also expect the first MLB game on the 5 to be a port from 4, like they did the last time.

I have a PS4 Pro and a really nice 4K TV with HDR. Many times when I've been playing someone in my family has looked into the living room and asked if I'm playing The Show or watching a real game. The graphics are that good.

Timing window is broken so it’s not just you this year. Even on a monitor it’s tough.
