Done with all the offline heavy grind

Or how about stop making stupid posts about this game

@Weshill627_PSN said in Done with all the offline heavy grind:
I am NOT looking forward to content drop tomorrow. I only have 11/30 of the color storm bc they grind is the exact samething over & over now we get 30 more cards of which 3 will be usable & the only reason to do it is for the legends & flashback collection.
Please sds stop the moments, pxp, & missions grind. Its stale!!
At least one of your employees has to have an ounce of creatively!
Add excitement into the color storm grind: do what a lot are doing, couple players each team and go into the moonshot miniseason and earn 20 packs every 100 hits while doing it, it seems to go quicker in there.
-
@sbchamps17_NSW The grind is "not too much" I can grind this game all day & night if I wanted to.
ITS REPETITIVE & BORING!!
Doing moments, missions, pxp for EVERY grind is stale.
I will do the grind..
Make it something else.
-
Like what????? Play online if offline is too stale for you
-
@sbchamps17_NSW I'm not giving SDS free ideas on how to make their game not stale
Yeah lets do it online & make it take twice as long. Lol. Good answer!
-
@Weshill627_PSN "Playing the game" is boring. That's what you just said. If you don't like it don't play it.
-
@trfatboy22_MLBTS You got it!
-
@Weshill627_PSN you dint want an offline repetitive grind. You don't want an online grind, because it's to long.
How else are you supposed to get rhe cards? Just by turning on the game and having them magically appear in your binder?
-
@x-814-x-MAFIA-x_PSN Let me be clear. I don't mind grinding the game. I don't like the EXACT SAME GRIND EVERY DROP!!
They need to try ANYTHING else!!
-
How about no? Color Storm is designed so you can complete it however YOU want to. The only person with a lack of creativity here is you if you are choosing to do the same thing over and over. It's extremely well designed.
-
I only have 1 of the color storm cards so far. Just play the game how you want. Sooner or later you will unlock every card. You don’t need everything right away
-
I am not sure why everything has to resort to sniping and name calling.
I am also not sure how anyone can look at 30 Color Storm programs, each with the same 6 options for completing them and not come to the conclusion that it is repetitive. It is, even if you swap around which tasks you choose to do for each one.
The grind seems way to long for me so I just don't do it. That is the choice we all have to make for ourselves since we all have different tolerances for this kind of thing.
If you are not enjoying it then don't do it. Nobody is keeping score. Nobody else cares how many cards you have or have not earned.
-
The whole game is repetitive. You either play a moment or play games. It really does not matter what the missions require. It is the same game over and over again. Not sure how they change this, just like irl baseball can be fun and boring at the same time. Usually mid June I take a break and play FPS or RPG games for a month or two. With that said I would never complain about SDS giving us too much to do. Color Rush atleast forces me to use different lineups. Unlike most who load up on one team at a time, I have been sprinkling in 2 guys from each team to knock out the objectives. Keeps it fresh as much as possible.
-
One thing that is missed is that for the last few years TA tended to come with a mini season and conquest maps.
They dont match up program drops with content to play during it as much, so we are resorting to grinding already completed mini seasons or conquests which definitely makes it feel more like a grind
In an ideal world a new mini season drops with every larger program/card set and we have 10+ team conquests as well. Not everyone would do these and thats fine, its better to have more content than the average person can complete than just enough content for the average person.
I suspect today's drop in particular will be a showdown and pack drop, not so much mission based
-
Sports games by nature are repetitive, so I actually appreciate the motivation to play themed teams and try out new cards I would have never touched. I’ve had some great offensive games playing with teams like the Rays and Marlins. Much more interesting than playing conquest over and over with my best lineup (Beltran, etc)
-
@mietha_MLBTS Thats a lie. Its not "how you want" it's moments, pxp, missions over & over.
-
Dude I don't get to play anywhere near as much as most do...and even I'm not ticked about the grind...means I've always got something to do.
-
There is nothing wrong with the grind required it's the offline grind itself. It's the bizarre offline pitching and hitting that makes the grind feel monotonous and painful. If you've learned to be patient and weed through the 8 or more pitch at bats that see extremely wide pitches, dotted lines, and square up the one or maybe two hitable pitches you'll see per at bat, only to see 95% of them be low EV easy outs, screaming line drives right at an infielder, or be robbed by amazing diving catches. Every conquest game, every at bat, feels like watching the movie Ground Hog Day. IMO it's not the missions, it's not the cards, it's the game play.
-
Stop giving us free content with an easy grind while other games force you to pay money to keep a decent team. Man this OP has hit the crazy sauce. If you don’t like baseball play something else and if you like baseball try a different mode because DD isn’t for you.

I just downloaded Costco Park for the first time for my grinds and it made a huge difference for me.
