Should I buy Ohtani?
-
The real question is do you think Beltran is worth that price?
-
@IrishFist412_MLBTS More like is Beltran, Hodges, Valenzuela, and Ohtani worth that price!
-
@dap1234567890_PSN I’ll be honest - Beltran is good but Hodges is the real MVP. I honestly will be surprised if he’s not my end game first baseman.
-
@IrishFist412_MLBTS I enjoy both Beltran and Hodges. Valenzuela I think is better for online use than vs CPU. I also have enjoyed Ohtani.
-
You get Fernando ohtani hedley hodges and Beltran….its worth the 800k
-
Whatever price he tanks, remember is the 50k worth waiting a week or two of not having him, just buy him, you’ll make stubs other ways
-
If you can, I’d buy him before the next ru. His significant price jumps have happened after each ru as people suddenly have massive amounts of stubs.
-
I went ahead and bought him and Jimmy Rollins for 4000 too just to finish the live series and Rolen collection. Now I need to decide if I want to go for Santana or Buxton next.
Live series collection
Scott Rolen collection
Buxton
Santana -
I already posted this in another thread, but I finally pulled the trigger on Ohtani and Judge last night. Locked them in this morning. I don't regret it. Even if prices crater in the next few weeks, I'll get over it. Nice to be done with LS.
-
@MarioMendoza935_XBL I think it's always a good feeling each year getting the LS collection done. For the rest of the year, I can just sell all the cards in the numerous packs we get from doing programs and just playing the game.

Absolutely. I just got enough stubs to get Ohtani and finish Live Series. Cheers!

I agree with you.
This could be a hot take, if Beltran wasn’t a switch hitter a lot of people would suck with him, his swing is good but far from elite.
Gil Hodges feels more like the big dog.

One night I was tired of one upping my bid so I just threw all my stubs at him and went to bed. Bought for 489k. Glad I didn't wait.
