I disagree with the premise though, this years game is certainly better than last years even if I still greatly prefer 23.

I believe this person is not fluent in English, looks like this person is Puerto Rican and his/her native language is spanish.
He/She tried to type competition and used the word competence instead, in spanish competition is competencia, we can clearly see how he/she is literally trying to translate from Spanish to English.
